Policy on Safety and Health in the Workplace

Garrity Asphalt Reclaiming, Inc. places a high priority on providing a safe and healthful workplace, and it is our objective to instill an attitude of safety awareness in employees at every level of the company.

We recognize the need to establish an action oriented program that will protect the health and safety of our employees, safeguard the property and assets of the company, and guard against any adverse impact to the environment or the communities we serve.

In order to achieve these goals, all employees are expected to:

• Comply with federal, state, and local safety regulation
   
• Obey safety rules, follow established safe work practices, and exercise caution in all work activities at all times.
   
• Report unsafe working conditions or practices to their supervisors as soon as they become known.
   
• Contribute to a constant improvement in the health and safety environment of our company through suggestions and recommendations towards better methods where appropriate.

It shall be the responsibility of everyone to take any preventative and corrective actions within their control to protect the life, health, safety and welfare of employees, visitors and the members of the communities we serve.

Finally, it shall be considered every individual's responsibility to assure not only their own personal safety, but to develop a concern for the safety of all others that work near them. Working together, we can succeed in providing a safe, healthful, and profitable workplace from which the community and we will benefit.
